Quantifying CXCL5 Secretion by MSCs

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
MSCs (2.5 × 104/cm2) were seeded into 12-plate wells and supernatants of MSCs were harvested on day 3. The level of CXCL5 protein in the cell culture supernatant was quantitated using Human CXCL5 Quantikine ELISA Kit (R&D Systems) following the manufacturer’s protocol.

HBMEC IL-17 Cytokine Stimulation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Two days after seeding, HBMECs were stimulated with culture medium containing 250 ng/mL of mouse IL-17A, B, C, D, or E (R&D Systems, Inc.). Conditioned media from triplicate culture conditions was collected after 48 hours and human CXCL5 levels measured using a human CXCL5 Quantikine Elisa Kit (R&D Systems, Inc.). Absorbance values measured at 450 nm and absorbance at 570 nm was used for background subtraction. Background subtracted absorbance values were converted to pg/mL concentrations based on standard curve concentrations.

CXCL5 Secretion in Pancreatic Cancer Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
AsPC-1 and BxPC-3 cells were treated with TSZ ± nec-1 or with DMSO (control) for 3 hours. Cells were then washed twice with PBS and placed in serum-free medium. After 12 hours’ incubation, CM was collected, and CXCL5 was quantified using a Human CXCL5 Quantikine ELISA Kit (R & D Systems Europe Ltd, Oxford, UK).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
