Serum miRNA Profiling Workflow

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Serum of patients in the Con group (n = 3) and the Stu group (n = 3) were obtained. Mircury Hy3/Hy5 Power labeling kit (Exiqon) was applied for labeling, and the Mircury LNA array chip (v. 18.0) was for hybridization. Images were obtained using a Genepix 4000B laser scanner and digitized using Genepix Pro 6.0 software (Axon Instruments). The heatmap is generated in Java Treeview.

Profiling miRNA Expression in PBMC

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Microarray expression profiling was performed using 5 ยตg total RNA extracted from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) collected from 22 cases and 19 controls. MiRCURYTM Array Labeling kit (Exiqon, Vedbaek, Denmark) was utilized to label miRNAs fluorescently, and then miRNA microarray chips (Exiqon) were utilized to hybridize miRNAs. Hybridization data were collected using GenePix 4000B laser scanner (Axon Instruments, Foster City, CA, USA), and GenePix 4.0 software (Axon Instruments) was utilized to digitize and analyze the images.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
