Stromal cell derived factor 1α sdf 1α

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

Stromal Cell-derived Factor-1α (SDF-1α) is a chemokine protein involved in the regulation of stem cell migration and homing. It plays a key role in various biological processes, including the recruitment and activation of immune cells, tissue repair, and the regulation of hematopoiesis.

MDA-MB-231 cells were cultured in DMEM (Gibco, Thermo Fisher Scientific) supplemented with 10% FBS and 1% penicillin-streptomycin. Cells were plated in a 96 well plate (Falcon, Corning Brand, Corning, NY) at a cell density of 100,000 cells per well. The ligand Stromal Cell-derived Factor-1α (SDF-1α) (PeproTech) was added to cells at concentrations of 10 nM, and 100 nM and incubated in 37°C for 2 hours. Following this, cells were treated with ReANC and fReANCs and incubated at 37°C for 15–18 hours. Cells were fixed in 1% paraformaldehyde subsequent to trypsinization and washes. The samples were then analyzed via Fluorescence Assisted Cell Sorting (FACS) (FACs caliber, BD biosciences, CA) and uptake quantified as a function of green fluorescence from the albumin shell. Data were analyzed using Kaluza Analysis software (Beckman Coulter, CA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
