Fitc anti human cd324 e cadherin antibody

Manufactured by BioLegend
Sourced in United States

The FITC anti-human CD324 (E-Cadherin) antibody is a laboratory reagent used to detect the presence of CD324, also known as E-Cadherin, on the surface of human cells. It is conjugated with the fluorescent dye FITC (Fluorescein isothiocyanate) for visualization and analysis purposes.

Quantifying Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition

A549 cells (5 × 106) were suspend in cell staining buffer (BioLegend, California, USA). Firstly, non-specific binding was blocked using Human TruStain FcX™ (5 µl per million cells in 100 µl staining volume, BioLegend) for 15 min. Then the FITC anti-human CD324 (E-Cadherin) antibody (BioLegend) and APC anti-human CD325 (N-Cadherin) antibody (BioLegend) were incubated on ice for 20 min in the dark. After washing with cell staining buffer, flow cytometry was performed to select the target cells. Isotype controls were included in all flow cytometry experiments.

Cells were washed with PBS, detached using Trypsin/EDTA (PAN Biotech, Adenbach, Germany) and washed twice with PBS containing 2% BSA. Cells were stained with 5 µl FITC anti-human CD324 (E-cadherin) antibody (RRID : AB_756066, Biolegend, San Diego, CA, USA) or 5 µl FITC Mouse IgG1 κ Isotype Ctrl antibody (RRID : AB_2861401, Biolegend) for 30 min at 4°C in the dark. After two further washing steps, cells were measured with a Gallios flow cytometer (Beckman Coulter, Brea, CA, USA) and data were analyzed using Kaluza Analysis 2.1 software.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
