FT-IR Spectroscopy of Samples

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
IR spectra were obtained with a Thermo iN10-MX Fourier transform (FT)-IR microscope (Thermo Fischer Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA) with a liquid nitrogen-cooled mercury cadmium telluride detector with the measurement range between 4000–400 cm−1. Spectra collection was performed in reflection mode at a resolution of 4 cm−1. For each spectrum, 64 scans were co-added and converted to absorbance using the OmincPicta software (Thermo Scientific).

FTIR Spectroscopy Analysis of MAPLE Samples

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Compositional data on the MAPLE processed materials were obtained by complementary infrared mappings and spectra. Investigations were performed with a Nicolet iN10 MX Fourier transform (FT)-IR microscope from ThermoFischer Scientific. The scans were performed in the reflection mode with 4 cm−1 resolution, in the range 4000–600 cm−1. For each sample, 32 individual scans were recorded, co-added, and converted to absorbance using the OmincPicta software (Version 8.0, ThermoFischer Scientific).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
