Facsaria fusion sorp flow cytometer

Manufactured by BD

The BD FACSAria FUSION SORP is a flow cytometer designed for high-performance cell sorting and analysis. It features advanced optics, fluidics, and electronics to deliver accurate and reliable data. The core function of the instrument is to detect, identify, and sort individual cells or particles within a sample based on their physical and fluorescent properties.

3 protocols using facsaria fusion sorp flow cytometer

1

Prostate Cell Isolation and Characterization

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Viable human prostate cells were isolated by fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) for bulk and single cell sequencing in the UT Southwestern CRI Flow Cytometry Core on a BD FACSAria FUSION SORP flow cytometer and analyzed with FlowJo software as previously published (Henry et al., 2017 (link)). Improved antibody panels based on single cell data were built using titration and fluorescence minus one experiments. The Key Resources Table displays information on antibodies used for flow cytometry.

Multiparametric Immune Cell Enumeration

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
BD multitest 6 colour TBNK reagent and BD Trucount TM tubes were used to enumerate absolute count of T cells, CD4 T cells, CD8 T cells, B cells, and Natural killer (NK) cells using 50 μl of fresh EDTA stabilised blood following stain/lyse/no-wash protocol. Data acquisition was performed on BD FACS Aria Fusion (SORP) Flow cytometer (BD Biosciences) where 5000 events gated on beads count were acquired. Data analysis was carried out using FlowJo software (BD biosciences)

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
