Quantum studio 6 flex

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific
Sourced in United States

The Quantum Studio 6 flex is a real-time PCR system designed for gene expression and genotyping analysis. It features a 6-channel optical system and supports multiple sample formats, including 96-well plates, 8-tube strips, and individual tubes. The system provides precise temperature control and uniform thermal cycling for reliable and reproducible results.

Validating DEGs Expression by qRT-PCR

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
We used quantitative reverse transcription (qRT)-PCR to verify the expression level of DEGs identified by RNA-Seq. The primers used are shown in Table 1 (39 (link), 44 (link)–50 (link)). Channel catfish EF-1 α was used as the internal parameter to homogenize the expression levels. The qRT-PCR was performed using quantum Studio 6 flex (life technologies, USA), and melting curves were generated at the end of the run to confirm the specificity. The 2−ΔΔCt method was used to calculate the relative levels of DEGs (51 (link)).

Validating RNA-seq Findings using qRT-PCR

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
qRT-PCR was used to confirm the expression levels of DEGs identified by RNA-seq analysis. Primers used are listed in Table 1 (43 (link)–48 (link)). In channel catfish, EF-1 α was used as an endogenous control whereas gyrB was used for Y. ruckeri. qRT-PCR was performed using quantum Studio 6 flex (life technologies, USA) and melting curves were generated at the end of the run to confirm specificity. The 2−ΔΔCt method was used to calculate the relative levels of DEGs (49 (link)).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
