Revertaid first strand cdna synthesis kit

Manufactured by GeneCopoeia
Sourced in China, United States

The RevertAid First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit is a laboratory tool used for the reverse transcription of RNA into complementary DNA (cDNA). It contains the necessary reagents and enzymes to efficiently convert RNA into single-stranded cDNA, which can then be used for various downstream applications such as PCR, qPCR, or cloning.

Total RNA was isolated using TRIzol reagent (15596026, Thermo Fisher Scientific) and then reversed transcribed into cDNA using the RevertAid First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit (qp006, GeneCopoeia, Guangzhou, China). Subsequently, RT-PCR was performed on a Fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument (qTower 3.2G, Analytik Jena, Thuringia, Germany). The RT-PCR protocol was as follows: 1) 95°C for 2 min, 2) 95°C for 15 s, 3) 60°C for 30 s, 4) repeat steps 1–3 for 40 cycles. All primers used for the RT‐PCR are listed in Table 1. The relative expression levels were counted by a 2−ΔΔCt method.

Quantitative RT-PCR Analysis of Gene Expression

TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen, USA) was used to extract total RNA according to the protocol provided by the manufacturer. cDNA was synthesized from total RNA using a Thermo Scientific RevertAid First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit (GeneCopoeia, USA). Applied Biosystems SYBR Green Mix kits (Applied Biosystems, USA) were employed to perform reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction assays. Table 1 lists the primer sequences that were used in these experiments. Gene expression levels were normalized to the expression level of β-actin. All samples were analyzed three times, and the data were processed using the 2 -ΔΔCt method. 27 (link) Table 1. The primer sequences for qRT-PCR.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
