Oleic Acid Preparation and Dilution

Steatosis induction in Hepa1-6 cells

The Hepa1-6 cell line, which is derived from a BW7756 tumor from a C57BL/6J mouse, was purchased from DS Pharma Biomedical Japan (Osaka, Japan). To observe the effect of steatosis in hepatocytes, Hepa1-6 cells were exposed to 0.1 mM oleic acid or palmitic acid (Wako Chemical, Osaka, Japan) for 3 h, as described previously [21 (link)]. Dinapinones Purification and Radiolabeled Lipid Assays

DMEM (high glucose) medium, diisopropyl fluorophosphates, 2-mercaptoethanol, oleic acid and hematoxylin were purchased from Wako (Osaka, Japan). Nonidet P-40 was purchased from Nacalai Tesque (Kyoto, Japan).

Influenza HA Vaccine Preparation

The polyvinylidene difluoride membrane was products of GE Healthcare Bio-Science Co., (Piscataway, NJ). All other reagents used were of the highest grade available from commercial sources.
