Il 1β assay kit

Manufactured by Nanjing Jiancheng
Sourced in China

The IL-1β assay kit is a laboratory equipment product designed to measure the concentration of the interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) cytokine in various sample types. It utilizes an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique to quantify the levels of IL-1β in the tested samples.

Blood samples were centrifuged at 3000 rpm/min for 15 min to collect the serum. Then, serum levels of IL-1β, IL-18 and Hcy were determined using an interleukin 1β (IL-1β) assay kit (H002, Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China), an interleukin 18 (IL-18) assay kit (H015, Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China), a homocysteine (Hcy) assay kit (E031-1-1, Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China) following the manufacturer’s instructions. In these assays, the standard substance was dissolved in deionized water as a standard stock solution, which was subsequently diluted to 7 different gradient concentrations. The different concentrations of standards and samples were then added to the antibody-covered microplates, and after incubating for 2 h, the microplates were washed 5 times. The chromogenic substrate was then added to the wells, and after incubating for 30 min in the dark, stop solution was added to terminate the reaction. The absorbance values were then detected using a microplate reader (XSZ-02, BioTek, America). IL-1β, IL-18, and Hcy levels were calculated based on their corresponding standard curves.

Neurochemical Analysis of Mouse Brain

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Following the behavioral tests, the mice were euthanized, and their brains were isolated and placed in centrifuge tubes immersed on ice, followed by the addition of nine times the volume of normal saline solution. After homogenization with a tissue precision homogenizer, the supernatant was obtained through centrifugation (4 °C, 4000 rpm, 10 min). The contents of GABA, 5-HT, NE, Glutamine (Glu), GAD67, GABAAR, SOD, IL-1β, iNOS in the mouse brain homogenate supernatant were examined by assay kit according to the instructions of the manuscripts. The mouse GABA ELISA Kit (Product code: JL12094), GABAAR ELISA Kit (Product code: JL50569), and GAD67 ELISA Kit (Product code: JL46227) were purchased from Shanghai Jianglaibio Science and Technology Ltd., China; The 5-HT assay Kit (Product code: H104), NE assay Kit (Product code: H096), NOS typed assay kit (Product code: A014-1-2), Glu measurement kit (Product code: A074-1-1), IL-1β Assay Kit (Product code: H002), SOD assay kit (Product code: A001-3-2) and Total protein quantitative assay kit (Product code: A045-2-2) were purchased from Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, China.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
