The only commercially available GOAT inhibitor (GOATi; GO-CoA-Tat; Ref: 032–37) was purchased from Phoenix Pharmaceuticals (Burlingame, CA). The final concentration (10-5 M) was selected based on dose–response experiments performed in prostate cell-lines and on previous reports37 (link).
