Mouse Strain Comparison Study

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
C57Bl/6 wild-type (CD45.2), B6.SJL-PtprcaPepcb/BoyJ (CD45.1), and C57BL/6-Tg(UBC-GFP)30Scha/J (CD45.2) mice were purchased from Jackson Labs. All mice were age- (6–12 wk) and sex-matched for all experimental studies. Mice were housed in a special pathogen–free (SPF) barrier facility. All animal experiments were performed in compliance with institutional guidelines and approved by the Animal Institute Committee of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (#00001099).

Congenic Mouse Transplantation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
C57BL/6 wild-type (CD45.2+) and SJL (CD45.1+) congenic mice were obtained from the Jackson Laboratory. Mice were bred in-house in a pathogen-free mouse facility at the University of Pennsylvania. Transplant recipients were 8- to 10-week-old CD45.2+ females. Donor mice were 6- to 8-week-old CD45.1+ males. Animal experiments were performed in accordance with guidelines approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) at the University of Pennsylvania (IACUC protocol #803107).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
