Neonatal Blood Count Analysis

Serum Vitamin B12 and Folate Analysis

A UniCelDxH 800 analyzer (Beckman Coulter) was used for hematology testing to determine mean corpuscular volume (MCV). Vitamin B₁₂ deficiency was defined as a serum concentration <197 pg/mL and folate deficiency as serum concentration <4.6 ng/mL. Macrocytosis was defined as MCV <96 fL.
