Omni express

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

The Omni Express is a versatile lab equipment designed for sample preparation and processing. It features a compact and durable construction with the capability to handle a wide range of sample volumes. The core function of the Omni Express is to efficiently homogenize and disrupt samples to extract target analytes or components for further analysis.

Genotyping Protocols for Genetic Study

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
In GCKD, rs41272110 was represented directly on the genotyping microarray. In KORA F3 and F4 genotypes were retrieved from Haplo-type Reference Consortium-imputed data [34 (link)] using the Imputation Server [35 (link)] (imputation quality for KORA F3: R2 = 0.96953 and KORA F4: R2 = 0.95874). Genotyping arrays were Illumina Omni2.5Exome array for GCKD, Illumina Omni2.5 and Illumina Omni Express for KORA F3 and Affymetrix Axiom for KORA F4 with call rates >98%. KIV-2 4925G>A carrier status had been determined earlier by amplification-refractory TaqMan PCR (described in [10 (link),14 (link)]).

Evaluating CNVR Probe Coverage

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
In order to evaluate the coverage by array probes for all CNVR sets, we used bedtools (v2.29.2) [67 (link)] intersect to determine all markers falling within a respective CNVR and then counted the number of markers, reporting zero for no intersection. For this we used array probe maps from several chip designs from [4 (link)]: Illumina’s OmniExpress, CytoSNP850, Omni25, Omni5 as well as Affymetrix SNP 6.0 and CytoScan HD

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
