750 mri scanner

Manufactured by GE Healthcare
Sourced in United States

The 750 MRI scanner is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system developed by GE Healthcare. It is designed to capture high-quality images of the body's internal structures and functions. The 750 MRI scanner utilizes strong magnetic fields and radio waves to generate detailed visualizations without the use of ionizing radiation.

Neuroimaging Protocols for 3T MRI Scans

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Below we outline the imaging parameters for the three separate imaging experiments included in the current manuscript. All scans were performed on a 3.0T GE 750MRI scanner using a 32-channel head coil.

Functional MRI Acquisition Across Scanners

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Participants were scanned on either a 3.0T GE Sigma MRI scanner (Scanner 1) or a 3.0T GE 750 MRI scanner (Scanner 2) in the Clinical Research Center on the National Institutes of Health campus (Bethesda, MD, USA) as part of independent experiments.
Across scanners, partial volumes of the occipital and temporal cortices were acquired.
Scanner 1: eight-channel head coil; 28 slices; 3 mm3 voxel size with 10% interslice gap; TR = 2. TE = 30 ms; matrix size = 64 × 64, FOV = 192 mm.
Scanner 2: thirty-two channel head coil; 37 slices; 3 mm3 voxel size with 10% interslice gap; TR = 2. TE = 30 ms; matrix size = 64 × 64, FOV = 192 mm.

fMRI Protocol for Visual Stimulus Presentation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
During fMRI scanning, the participants lay in a supine position in the MRI tunnel while looking at the stimulus on the screen in the mirror, which was fitted to the head coil (viewing angle, 5 × 2.5°). Scanning was performed at Kangning Hospital in Shenzhen, using a 3T GE 750 MRI scanner with an 8-channel head coil. A gradient–echo planar imaging (EPI) sequence was used [TR (repetition time)/TE (echo time) = 2000/30 ms; flip angle = 90°; voxel size of 3 × 3 × 3.5, with a 0-mm gap]. After functional scanning, an anatomical image was acquired using a T1-weighted spin echo pulse sequence with a 1-mm3 isotropic voxel size.

3T GE 750 MRI Brain Imaging Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
A 3T GE 750 MRI scanner was used to acquire images. T1-weighted structural images were obtained with 180 slices and used as anatomical reference. Settings for fMRI image acquisition was interleaved starting at the bottom, 40 slices, with 2 seconds between each slice. Global signal was determined from fMRI images of from a mask including the gray matter of the brain. . .

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
