Citronella oil was purchased from AFU (Beijing, China) as a mixture without puri cation. Geraniol, citronellol and citronellal were purchased from MACKLIN (China). Pyraclostrobin was purchased from J&K (China). For all reactions, the solvents and chemical reagents, obtained from China National Medicines Co., Ltd, Beijing, China, were of analytical or synthetic grade and were used without puri cation. Column chromatography puri cation was performed using silica gel. NMR spectra were obtained using a Bruker Avance DPX300 spectrometer with tetramethylsilane as the internal standard. Mass spectra were obtained with an Agilent 1100 LC-MSD-Trap mass spectrometer equipped with a standard electrospray ionization (ESI) source.
