RIP Assay for Protein-RNA Interactions

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) experiments were performed using EZMagna RIP kit (Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA), according to the manufacturer's instructions. Briefly, HCT116 and LoVo cells were lysed using the RIP lysis buffer, and the lysates were incubated with magnetic beads containing specific antibodies (Ago, EZH2) or control IgG (Millipore). The antibody against EZH2 (Abcam) was used at a 1:200 dilution. Next, the beads were washed and incubated with Proteinase K for protein removal. Finally, RT-qPCR assay was used to measure the RNAs.

RIP Assay using EZ-Magna Kit

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
According to former study, the EZ-Magna RIP kit (Millipore, China) was used for RIP assay [22] (link). Antibody against EZH2 (Abcam, Shanghai, China) and control IgG were used to capture immunoprecipitated RNAs. The captured RNAs were detected by RT-qPCR.

Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
CHIP assay was carried out using an EZ-Magna ChIP TMA Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Kit (Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA) as described in former study [22] (link). Antibody against EZH2 (Abcam, Shanghai, China) and control IgG were used. The captured chromatin DNAs were detected by qPCR.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
