Nkg2a clone z199

Manufactured by Beckman Coulter

NKG2A (clone Z199) is a cell surface receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and a subset of T cells. It functions as an inhibitory receptor that regulates the cytotoxic activity of these cells. The NKG2A antibody (clone Z199) is a useful tool for the identification and characterization of NKG2A-expressing cells in flow cytometry and other applications.

Flow Cytometric Sorting of Lymphocyte Subsets

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The SIV infection frequency of naïve, CD28+ memory and CD28 memory CD4+ T cells and myeloid cells was determined by flow cytometrically sorting each subset. Naïve CD4+ T cells were defined as live, CD45+CD3+CD4+CD28+CD95 lymphocytes; CD28+ memory CD4+ T cells were defined as live, CD45+CD3+CD4+CD28+CD95+ lymphocytes; CD28 memory CD4+ T cells were defined as live, CD45+CD3+CD4+CD28-CD95+/- lymphocytes; myeloid cells were defined as live, CD45+CD3CD20NKG2AHLA-DR+. Cells were then stained with the live dead exclusion dye Aqua blue (Invitrogen) then with antibodies to CD3 (clone SP34-2, BDPharmingen), CD4 (clone L200, BDPharmingen), CD95 (clone DX2, BDPharmingen), CD28 (clone CD28.2, Beckman Coulter). CD8 (clone SK8, BDPharmingen), NKG2A (clone Z199 Beckman Coulter), CD20 (clone BDPharmingen), HLADR (clone BDPharmingen), CD14 (clone BDPharmingen), and CD45 (clone BDPharmingen).

Mononuclear Cell Profiling by Flow

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Absolute numbers of mononuclear cell populations in peripheral blood were determined by flow cytometry as described (43 (link)), with the addition of anti-NK cell (CD159) antibody (NKG2A; clone Z199, Beckman Coulter).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
