Tecnai 20 200 kv feg electron microscope

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

The Tecnai 20 200 KV FEG electron microscope is a high-performance transmission electron microscope (TEM) capable of operating at an accelerating voltage of 200 kilovolts. It features a field emission gun (FEG) source, which provides a high-brightness electron beam for improved imaging and analytical capabilities. The core function of this microscope is to enable high-resolution imaging and analysis of nanoscale structures and materials.

Sorted DC subsets were pelleted by centrifugation and fixed in 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer, pH 7.4, containing 2.5% glutaraldehyde and 2% paraformaldehyde. Samples were post-fixed in 2% osmium tetroxide in 0.1 M cacodylate buffer with 0.15% potassium ferrocyanide, followed by dehydration to propylene oxide and embedding in epoxy resin. TEM images of ultrathin (80 nm) sections were acquired using a FEI Tecnai 20 200 KV FEG electron microscope.

Ultrastructural Analysis of NIH3T3 Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
After B/B stimulation, NIH3T3 cells are fixed in 2.5% glutaraldehyde and 2% paraformaldehyde in 0.1 M sodium cacodylate buffer pH 7.4 before post-fixation in 2% osmium tetroxide in 0.1 M cacodylate buffer with 0.15% potassium ferrocyanide. After rinsing in buffer the tissue was dehydrated through a series of graded ethanol to propylene oxide, infiltrated and embedded in epoxy resin and polymerized at 70°C overnight. Semi-thin sections (0.5 micron) are stained with toluidine blue for light microscope examination. Ultrathin sections (80 nm) are cut and imaged using the Tecnai TF20 TEM with an AMT XR41 camera. TEM images were acquired using A FEI Tecnai 20 200KV FEG Electron Microscope.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
