Succinimidyl esters conjugated with Alexa Fluor (AF) 563, 594, 610-X, and 633 were purchased from Invitrogen Inc. (Carlsbad, CA, USA). Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS; 137 mM NaCl, 10 mM Na2HPO4, 2.0 mM KH2PO4, and 2.7 mM KCl at pH 7.4) was prepared in-house. Deionized (DI) water was used for all experiments. Herceptin (anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (anti-HER2) monoclonal antibody) and Cetuximab (anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (anti-EGFR) monoclonal antibody) were purchased from Merck Millipore (Darmstadt, Germany).

Synthesis of Pbp@NiO Composite

Sulfuric acid (98%) and toluene (99%) were obtained from Scharlau (Barcelona, CAT, Spain) and 2-Propanol (99.5%) and dimethyl sulfoxide (99.5%) from Daejung (Seoul, Korea). Extraction and Characterization of Edible Oils

Fresh PSO was obtained from the local market in Lahore, Pakistan. Standard triolein (Pubchem CID, 5497163), trilinolein (Pubchem CID, 5322095), tristearin (Pubchem CID, 11146), tridecanoin (Pubchem CID, 69310), dioleoyl palmitin (Pubchem CID, 13183955), and tripalmitin (Pubchem CID, 11147), methanol (Pubchem CID, 887), were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich (Germany). 2-Propanol (Pubchem CID, 3776), was from Daejung Chemicals (South Korea). Fatty acids such as oleic acid (Pubchem CID, 445639), linoleic acid (Pubchem CID, 5280450) and linolenic acid (Pubchem CID, 5280934), were from TCI (Tokyo Chemical Industries, Japan). Gallic acid (Pubchem CID, 370) was from BDH (BDH, England). Deionized double distilled water was obtained using Labtech (South Korea). All chemicals or reagents were of the HPLC grade with highest purity.

Synthesis and Characterization of SERS Substrates

Silver nitrate (AgNO3, 99.9%) was purchased from Kojima Chemical (Japan). Sodium borohydride (NaBH4, 98%) and melamine (99%) were obtained from Sigma-Aldrich (Republic of Korea). Hydrofluoric acid (48–51%), sulfuric acid (98%), nitric acid (65–70%), rhodamine B (pure), mineral oil (light molecular biology grade), sorbitan monooleate (SPAN 80), and trisodium citrate dehydrate (TCD) (99%) were purchased from Alfa Aesar (Republic of Korea). Sylgard 184 A&B was obtained from Sewang Hitech (Republic of Korea), and the XL-1500 UV cross-linker used for UV curing was purchased from Krackeler Scientific (USA). Methyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide (35%), sodium hydroxide (<97%), ammonia water (25–29%), acetone (99.5%), ethyl alcohol (95%), and 2-propanol (99.5%) were bought from Daejung (Republic of Korea). The Formlabs 3D printer and clear V4 resin were purchased from Formlabs (USA). Deionized water with a resistivity of 18 MΩ·cm−1, provided by a Milli-Q water purification system (Millipore Corp., MA, USA), was used throughout all the experiments.
The morphologies of Ag NPs and SERS substrates were examined using a field-emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM, Mira II, TESCAN). A UV–vis spectrometer (Agilent 8453, Agilent, USA) and a micro-Raman spectrometer (NS200, Nanoscope System, Republic of Korea) were used to record the absorption spectra and Raman spectra, respectively.
