(Redox Lab Supplies, Bucharest, Romania). Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), Glycerol, Nutrient Broth, and agar were obtained from Sigma Aldrich (Redox Lab Supplies, Bucharest, Romania). Citronella essential oil (CEO) was purchased from Carl Roth (Amex-Lab, Bucharest, Romania). All the chemicals were used without any further purification.
