(Danvers, MA, USA). PVDF membranes, BSA protein assay kit, and Western blot chemiluminescence reagent were purchased from Amersham Biosciences (Arlington Heights, IL, USA).

Rutin was dissolved in DMSO to a concentration of 50mM and stored in -20℃ as a master stock solution. PARP antibodies and horseradish peroxidase - conjugated anti-mouse or anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibodies were purchased from Cell signaling (MA, USA). Polyvinyldenefluoride (PVDF) membranes, BSA protein assay kit and Western blot chemiluminescence reagent were purchased from Amersham Biosciences (Arlington Heights, IL). Superoxide dismutase activity assay kit was purchased from biovision (Mountain View, CA). Glutathione peroxidase assay kit was purchased from Cayman Chemical (MI, USA). DNA Fragmentation Assay Kit was purchased from Clontech Laboratories (Mountain View, CA). Non-Radioactive Cytotoxicity Assay was purchased from Promega (Madison, WI, USA)
