Micro-CT/PET Imaging of Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
At 180 days, mice (3 from each of the indicated treatment groups) were imaged using a Siemens Inveon Micro-CT/PET (Siemens Medical Solutions, Knoxville, TN, USA). Transmission images were acquired for each animal at 80 kV and 500 μA and a spatial resolution of ∼30 μm using Inveon Research Workplace software Version 1.5 (Siemens, Berlin, Germany).

Micro-PET/CT Imaging of Mouse Forepaws

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Left forepaws were imaged using a multimodality Platform Inveon preclinical micro-PET/CT scanner (Siemens, Berlin, Germany) unfiltered at 60 kV and 500 mA. Gantry total rotation was 360 with 512 rotation steps using an exposure time of 430 ms/frame. The effective pixel size was 34 mm. Image reconstruction was performed with a down sample factor of one using Cobra Reconstruction software version 6.3.39 (Exxim Computing Corporation, Pleasanton, CA). Three-dimensional reconstruction of the bone was analyzed with Inveon Research Workplace software version 1.5 (Siemens). An atlas of micro-CT images of the adult mouse skeleton was used to identify developing bones. 31

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
