Synephrine Extraction from Citrus aurantium

Graphene (GN) was purchased from Nanjing XFNANO Materials Tech Co., Ltd. (Nanjing, China). (±)-Synephrine (>98.0%), zirconium chloride, 2-aminoterephthalic acid, N,N-Dimethyl formamide (DMF), and acetonitrile in the chromatographic grade were obtained from Macklin Inc. (Shanghai, China). Nafion (5%) was brought from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Deionized water used in the experiments was supplied by an ELGA water purification system (ELGA Berkefeld, Veolia, Germany). All other chemicals were bought from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China) with analytical grade. The fruits of Citrus aurantium L. were collected from the experimental base belonging to our institute and proceeded according to the guidelines and procedures specified in the Chinese Pharmacopeia 2020 version.
