Salbutamol sulfate
Salbutamol sulfate is a pharmaceutical compound used as a bronchodilator. It is commonly used in the treatment of respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The compound works by relaxing and opening the airways, facilitating easier breathing.

The drug deposits on the collecting filter and drug remaining in the nebuliser (as residual dose) were eluted, and the drug on the face of the manikin was washed with 10 mL of distilled water for 3 min. The absorbance of each drug sample was measured using an ultraviolet spectrophotometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., Waltham, MA, USA) at a wavelength of 276 nm. There was a linear relationship between the absorption and concentration of salbutamol between 2.0 and 250 µg/mL with a slope of 0.0062 (R2 = 0.9999). The salbutamol drug mass was then calculated from the absorption-concentration standard curve.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
