Immunohistochemical and Fluorescent Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Immunohistochemical analysis of formalin‐fixed, paraffin‐embedded/cryosectioned skin/tumour tissues, were performed using Mouse on Mouse Elite Peroxidase Kit (Vector Labs). Alternatively, tissues were subjected to direct/indirect immunofluorescence studies. Bright field and fluorescent images were captured using Leica DMi8 microscope and Nikon eclipse confocal microscope, respectively.

Screening Neuron-Specific Protein Localization

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
A strain expressing mNeonGreen::ESYT-2 in DA9 neuron (sybIs50) was mutagenized with EMS according to standard protocols (Anderson, 1995 (link)). 1000 F1s were cloned into different plates, and 30–50 F2 animals from individual F1 animals were subjected to a direct visual screen under a microscope. The mutants were isolated based on the changes in mNeonGreen::ESYT-2 distribution in DA9 neuron as observed with a 40x objective on either a Leica DMi8 microscope or a Nikon Ti2 inverted microscope.

Screening Candida albicans Growth

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Spider medium agar plates (1% peptone, 1% mannitol, 0.2% K2HPO4 and 1.5% agar) were supplemented with different concentrations of compounds as indicated. C. albicans SC5314 cells were grown in the plates at 37°C for 24–30 h. Images of the colonies were obtained using a Leica DMi8 microscope and a Nikon Coolpix digital camera.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
