Oc sensor diana kits

Manufactured by Eiken Chemical
Sourced in Japan

The OC-Sensor DIANA kits are laboratory equipment designed for the quantitative measurement of fecal occult blood. The kits utilize an immunochemical method to detect the presence of human hemoglobin in stool samples. The core function of the OC-Sensor DIANA kits is to provide a reliable and accurate means of testing for occult (hidden) blood in the gastrointestinal tract.

Single Yearly FIT Screening Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
As NCSP provides a single FIT once a year, the FIT results, either qualitative or quantitative, are processed using only a single sample. We included the initial FIT result only if two or more FITs had been conducted during the study period. For the qualitative FIT test, ASAN Easy Test FOB kits (Asan Pharm, Co., Korea), SD Bioline FOB kits (SD, Co., Korea), FOB test kits (Humasis, Co., Korea), or OC-Hemocatch Light kits (Eiken Chemical, Co., Tokyo, Japan) were used. For the quantitative FIT test, OC-Sensor DIANA kits (Eiken Chemical Co.), Hemo Tech NS-1000 kits (Alfresa Pharma, Co., Osaka, Japan), or Medex HM-JACK kits (Kyowa Chemical Industry, Co., Kagawa, Japan) were used [22 (link),23 (link)].

Fecal Immunochemical Test Evaluation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
FITs were processed using a 1‐day qualitative or quantitative sampling method. Study participants were instructed to return the fecal samples immediately or to store them shortly in a home refrigerator before returning. The fecal samples were to be collected before making contact with urine or water. OC‐Hemocatch Light kits (Eiken Chemical, Co, Tokyo, Japan), with a cutoff of 50 ng/mL; FOB test kits (Humasis, Co, Seoul, Korea), with a cutoff of 50 ng/mL; ASAN Easy Test FOB kits (Asan Pharm, Co, Seoul, Korea), with a cutoff of 50 ng/mL; and SD Bioline FOB kits (SD, Co, Seoul, Korea), with a cutoff of 30 ng/mL, were used for the qualitative method. OC‐Sensor DIANA kits (Eiken Chemical, Co), with a cutoff of 100 ng/mL; Hemo Tech NS‐1000 kits (Alfresa Pharma, Co, Osaka, Japan), with a cutoff of 40 ng/mL; and Medex HM‐JACK kits (Kyowa Chemical Industry, Co, Kagawa, Japan), with a cutoff of 30 ng/mL, were used for the quantitative method.21 The results were categorized into negative and positive according to the cutoff points of each test kit.

Comparison of Qualitative and Quantitative FIT Methods

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Because the NCSP provides a single annual FIT, FIT results were processed using only one sampling, either by qualitative or quantitative methods. For those with two or more FITs during the study period, we included only the initial FIT results. For the qualitative FIT, SD Bioline FOB kits (SD, Co., Korea), with a cutoff point of 30 ng/mL; ASAN Easy Test FOB kits (Asan Pharm, Co., Korea), with a cutoff point of 50 ng/mL; FOB test kits (Humasis, Co., Korea), with a cutoff point of 50 ng/mL; and OC-Hemocatch Light kits (Eiken Chemical, Co., Tokyo, Japan), with a cutoff point of 50 ng/mL, were applied. For the quantitative FIT, Medex HM-JACK kits (Kyowa Chemical Industry, Co., Kagawa, Japan), with a cutoff point of 30 ng/mL; Hemo Tech NS-1000 kits (Alfresa Pharma, Co., Osaka, Japan), with a cutoff point of 40 ng/mL; and OC-Sensor DIANA kits (Eiken Chemical, Co.), with cutoff point of 100 ng/mL, were used [12 (link),13 (link)].

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
