Bio plex pro multiplex immunoassays

Manufactured by Bio-Rad
Sourced in United States

Bio-Plex Pro™ multiplex immunoassays are a range of laboratory equipment designed for the simultaneous detection and quantification of multiple analytes in a single sample. The core function of these assays is to enable researchers to efficiently analyze complex biological samples by measuring the concentrations of various proteins, cytokines, or other biomolecules of interest.

Cytokine and Chemokine Profiling of PBMCs

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
After 24 h of incubation, the supernatants were harvested from the PBMC cultures described above. Levels of 10 cytokines and chemokines were quantified (IL-1ra, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8 (CXCL8), IL-10, interferon gamma (IFN-γ), tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), MIP-1α (CCL3), and G-CSF) using Bio-Plex Pro™ multiplex immunoassays (Bio-Rad Laboratories, Hercules, CA) and utilizing xMAP technology (Luminex, Austin, TX, USA).

Serum Biomarker Profiling in Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Analyses of serum levels of several obesity-associated hormones, adipokines, and cytokines were performed on 10 randomly selected mice per group. Serum IGF-1 was measured via a Mouse Magnetic Luminex® Screening Assay (R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN, USA). Other serum proteins were measured via Bio-Plex Pro™ Multiplex Immunoassays (Bio-Rad, Inc., Hercules, CA, USA). All assays were analyzed on a Bio-Plex® MAGPIX™ Multiplex Reader (Bio-Rad).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
