Depc treated h2o

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

DEPC-treated H2O is a laboratory reagent designed to eliminate RNase contamination. It is treated with diethyl pyrocarbonate (DEPC), a commonly used agent for inactivating RNase enzymes. This solution is suitable for use in a variety of molecular biology applications where RNase-free water is required.

ELISA Screening of B-Cell Supernatants

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The same ELISA protocol was employed for the screening of B-cell supernatants against target antigens with the exception that neat B-cell supernatant was added in the place of titrated purified IgG or IVIG. Positive hits were defined as wells with an OD450 reading >4× background. B cells in ‘positive hit’ wells were lysed in buffer (1 ml DEPC-treated H2O (Life Technologies), 10 µl 1 M Tris pH 8, 25 µl RNAsin Plus RNAse Inhibitor (Promega)) and stored at –80 °C.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
