Identification of von Willebrand Factor in Lung Cells

Nucleated cells that were double positive for tomato and CD41 were sorted from digested lung and Cytospin slides were prepared. The cells were fixed with PFA 4% and permeabilized with 0.5% Triton. After saturation with PBS/BSA 3%, cells were stained overnight at 4°C with sheep anti-vWF antibody (Abcam) and 1 hour with anti-Sheep AlexaFluor488 antibody (Invitrogen).
