Morphine (1.0 mg/mL, in methanol solution), Morphine-d6 (1.0 mg/mL, in methanol solution), Morphine-6-beta-D-glucuronide (1.0 mg/mL, in methanol solution), bovine serum albumin, hydrocortisone, Triton X-100, probenecid and tetraethylammonium were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO). ³H-PAH (40 Ci/mmol) was obtained from American Radiolabeled Chemicals (St. Louis, MO). Formaldehyde (16%, methanol free) was purchased from Polysciences (Warrington, PA). Phosphate-buffered saline with (PBS), 50:50 Dulbecco’s modified eagle medium with Ham’s F-12 (DMEM/F12), penicillin–streptomycin–amphotericin B, insulin-transferrin-selenium A solution (ITS-A), fetal bovine serum (FBS), 0.05% Trypsin EDTA, ProLong Gold Antifade reagent were purchased from Thermo-Fisher (Waltham, MA). Alexa Fluor 594 conjugated anti-mouse IgG, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated anti-rabbit IgG, and anti-OAT3 antibody were obtained from Abcam (Cambridge, MA). Anti-OAT1 antibody was obtained from Fischer Scientific (Pittsburgh, PA). Anti-OCT2 antibody was obtained from RD systems (Minneapolis, MN). Dual-channel MPS platforms were supplied by Nortis (Woodinville, WA). Rat tail collagen I was purchased from Ibidi (Martinsried, Germany). Collagen IV was obtained from Corning (Corning, NY). Human umbilical venous endothelial cells (HUVECs) and EGM-2 bullet kits were obtained from Lonza (Basel, Switzerland).
