Sirnas targeting human leucyl trna synthetase 1 or 2

Manufactured by Horizon Discovery

SiRNAs targeting human leucyl-tRNA synthetase 1 or 2 are small interfering RNAs designed to downregulate the expression of the corresponding genes. Leucyl-tRNA synthetase is an essential enzyme involved in protein synthesis.

RNA Interference and Plasmid Transfection in HeLa Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
HeLa cells were cultured in Dulbecco´s modified Eagle´s medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum in a 5% CO2 incubator. For RNA interference, Opti-MEM medium and Lipofectamine 3000 (ThermoFisher) was used as per the manufacture´s protocol. HeLa cells were transfected with control siRNA (non-targeting pool, Dharmacon) or siRNAs targeting human leucyl-tRNA synthetase 1 or 2 (Dharmacon), separately. For transfection of tRNA plasmids, HeLa cells were transfected by Lipofectamine 3000 with 2 μg of plasmid encoding tRNA wild-type or variant genes and incubated for 24 hours before RNA extraction.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
