Gammacoat plasma renin activity 125 1 radioimmunoassay kit
The GammaCoat Plasma Renin Activity 125 I Radioimmunoassay Kit is a laboratory diagnostic product designed to quantitatively measure the levels of renin activity in plasma samples. It utilizes a radioimmunoassay technique with a 125I-labeled tracer to detect and quantify the target analyte.

Renin activity was measured in samples collected from coronary effluent using a GammaCoat Plasma Renin Activity 125I Radioimmunoassay kit (DiaSorin, Stillwater, MN, USA) according to the manufacturer's instructions. Briefly, 200 l each sample of coronary effluent were incubated with porcine angiotensinogen (0.1 mg/ml), maleate buffer and PMSF (part of the DiaSorin kit). The reaction for angiotensin I production was conducted for 1.5 h at 37 • C. Results were normalized to total heart weight. The detection limit was approximately 0.01 pmol.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
