Creatinine kit

Manufactured by Nanjing Jiancheng
Sourced in China

The Creatinine kit is a laboratory reagent used to measure the concentration of creatinine in a biological sample, such as blood or urine. Creatinine is a waste product produced by the body's muscles and is filtered out by the kidneys. The kit provides the necessary materials and instructions to quantify the creatinine levels in a sample through a chemical reaction and colorimetric analysis.

The serum blood urea nitrogen (BUN) levels were measured using a Urea Assay Kit (Enzy Chrom, DIUR-500); serum creatinine (SRC) levels were measured using a Creatinine Kit (Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, C011-2-1), urea protein levels were measured using Urea Protein Kit (Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, C035-2-1), serum triglyceride levels were measured using a Triglyceride Assay Kit (ETGA-200; Enzy Chrom). and serum total cholesterol levels were measured with using a Cholesterol Assay Kit (E2CH-100; Enzy Chrom).

Comprehensive Renal Assessment Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The levels of blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum and urine creatinine (Scr, Cre), urinary protein (UPr), TNFα, IL1β, IL-5 and IL-6 in serum and urine of rats were determined by ELISA. All steps were strict to the instructions. After completing the last step, the absorbance at the specified wavelength was detected using a multifunctional enzyme-labeled analyzer (MB-530, Heales) within 5 min. The serum and urinary creatinine were measured by the creatinine kit (#C011-2-1, Jiancheng) and the Creatinine clearance rate (Ccr= Cre × urine volume per minute/Scr) was calculated accordingly. The BUN kit (#C013-1-1), and UPr kit (#C035-2-1) were purchased from Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute. Sino-American Biotechnology Co., Ltd provided the TNFα kit (#CSB-E11987r), IL1β kit (#CSB-E08055r), IL-5 kit (#CSB-E07435r), and IL-6 kit (#CSB-E04640r).

Blood samples were obtained from the inferior vena cava and were centrifugated at 3,000 rpm for 5 min to obtain plasma. Plasma levels of triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), amylase, creatinine, and urea nitrogen were analyzed by Triglyceride kit, Total cholesterol kit (Kehua, Shanghai, China), AST kit, ALT kit, amylase kit, creatinine kit, and urea nitrogen kit (Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China) respectively according to the manufacturer’s instruction.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
