Diaminoaniline dab

Manufactured by Beyotime

Diaminoaniline (DAB) is a lab equipment product used as a chromogenic substrate in various applications. It is a chemical compound that can be used to visualize the presence of certain target analytes in biological samples through color development. The core function of DAB is to serve as a detection reagent, enabling researchers to identify and localize specific molecules or proteins of interest.

Immunohistochemical Analysis of Tumor Tissues

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Tumor tissues were fixed in paraformaldehyde (4%) and embedded in paraffin. After cutting into 5‐μm thick sections, the sections were incubated with primary antibodies against KIAA0101 (ab226255; 1:500; Abcam), Ki‐67 (1:200; ab15580; Abcam), E‐cadherin (20874‐1‐AP; 1:1000; Rosemont) and N‐cadherin (22018‐1‐AP; 1:1000; Rosemont). Thereafter, the sections were incubated with corresponding secondary antibodies (1:4000; ab205718; Abcam). After staining with diaminoaniline (DAB; Beyotime) and counterstaining with hematoxylin (Beyotime), a microscope (Leica) was used to observe the immunohistochemistry images.

Tumor Immunohistochemical Staining

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Dissected tumors were settled in 10% (v/v) formaldehyde, paraffin‐embedded, and slid into 4 μm sections. Next, the sections were hatched with FYN (1:500, ab227304, Abcam), Ki67 (1:200, ab15580, Abcam) and MMP9 (1:250, ab76003, Abcam) for 12 h at 4°C, and secondary antibody (1:4000, ab205718, Abcam) for 1 h. These sections were then stained with diaminoaniline (DAB; Beyotime) and counterstained with hematoxylin (Beyotime). Lastly, the images were obtained using a microscope (×200, Leica).

Immunohistochemical Analysis of TXNRD1

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Tumor tissues were fixed in formaldehyde (10%), embedded in paraffin, followed by cutting at a thickness of 4 μm slides. Next, these sections were incubated with the TXNRD1 (ab124954, 1:200, Abcam) antibody overnight at 4°C to measure TXNRD1 expression. After incubation with secondary antibody (ab150077, 1:1000, Abcam). After staining with diaminoaniline (DAB; Beyotime) and counterstaining with hematoxylin (Beyotime), the images were obtained under a microscope (Leica). The TXNRD1 score was defined as the percentage of TXNRD1-positive staining cells in the total number of cancer cells.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
