LNCaP cells were obtained from ATCC (Clone FGC, CRL-1740) and cultured in GIBCO RPMI media (Life Technologies, Paisley, UK) supplemented with 10% FCS, 2 mM L-glutamine, 100 U/mL penicillin/streptomycin, 10 mM HEPES and 1 mM sodium pyruvate. All cell lines were regularly tested for mycoplasma contamination.
Gibco rpmi media
GIBCO RPMI media is a widely used cell culture medium designed to support the growth and maintenance of various cell types, including immune cells, cancer cells, and primary cells. It provides the essential nutrients, vitamins, and other components required for cell proliferation and differentiation. The formulation is optimized to maintain the physiological pH and osmolarity necessary for cell viability and optimal growth.

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
