Anti relb c1e4

Manufactured by Cell Signaling Technology

The Anti-RelB (C1E4) is a primary antibody produced by Cell Signaling Technology. It is designed to detect the RelB protein, which is a member of the NF-κB transcription factor family and plays a role in the regulation of gene expression.

Cell lysates prepared using RIPA lysis buffer supplemented with protease (Roche) and phosphatase inhibitors (Sigma) were subjected to SDS-PAGE. Nuclear extracts were prepared as described before (Moriwaki et al., 2014 (link)). After transferring proteins to nitrocellulose membrane, immunoblot analysis was performed with the following antibodies: Anti-RIPK3 (2283, Prosci, RIPK3-P), anti-mouse RIPK3 (Genentech clone 1G6.1.4, RIPK3-G), anti-HSP90 (68/Hsp90, BD Biosciences), anti-HA, anti-RelB (C1E4, Cell Signaling), anti-p50 (H-119, Santa Cruz), anti-BRG1 (kindly provided by A. Imbalzano), anti-caspase 8 (1G12, Enzo Lifesciences), anti-pro-IL-1β (AF-401-NA, R&D systems), and anti-caspase 3 (46, Santa Cruz) antibodies.

Investigating CYLD and RELB Regulation

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Purified Human CD4+ T cells (Miltenyi Biotech) were pre-incubated with 10 μM proteasome inhibitor MG132 (SIGMA-Aldrich) and 10 μM Compound 2, 10 μM mepazine or 300 μM z-VRPR-fmk for 30 min prior stimulation with 10 ng/mL PMA and 250 ng/mL ionomycin. After 1 h stimulation, cells were lysed in RIPA buffer and protease inhibitor (cOmplete; Roche). Proteins were separated by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and electrotransferred to nitrocellulose. Membrane was blocked with 5% bovine serum albumin and probed with anti-CYLD (D1A10; Cell Signaling Technology) or anti-RELB (C1E4; Cell Signaling Technology). After incubation with IRDye conjugated secondary antibodies (LI-COR), proteins were detected using a Odyssey imager (LI-COR).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
