Quantibody mouse cytokine array kit

Manufactured by RayBiotech
Sourced in United States

The Quantibody Mouse Cytokine Array kit is a multiplex ELISA-based platform designed to quantitatively measure the levels of multiple mouse cytokines and chemokines simultaneously in a single sample. The kit allows for the detection and quantification of various mouse proteins involved in immune response and inflammation.

Serum Lipid and Cytokine Profile Analysis

Levels of triglyceride, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), low-density lipoprotein (LDL), and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) were measured using enzymatic assay kits in the UCLA Cardiovascular Core Facility [17 (link)]. The whole mice’s blood was collected with cardiac puncture. The serum was separated from the blood for the detection of pro-inflammatory cytokines using the Quantibody Mouse Cytokine Array kit (RayBiotech, Inc., QAM-CYT-1, Peachtree Corners, GA, USA), which allows the determination of low levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and MCSF from the serum samples.

Quantifying Inflammatory Cytokines in Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines were detected as follows: Briefly, whole mouse blood was collected at 4 or 8 weeks after the final PBS or Pg inoculation with cardiac puncture. The serum was separated from the blood for the detection of pro-inflammatory cytokines using the Quantibody Mouse Cytokine Array kit (RayBiotech, Inc.) which allows for the determination of low levels (<20–30 pg/ml) of cytokines [e.g., granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), interferon (IFN)-γ, IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-17, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), macrophage colony-stimulating factor (M-CSF), keratinocyte chemoattractant (KC)] from the serum samples.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
