Ck mb kit

Manufactured by Nanjing Jiancheng
Sourced in China

The CK-MB kit is a laboratory diagnostic test used to measure the levels of the enzyme Creatine Kinase-MB (CK-MB) in the blood. CK-MB is a specific isoform of the Creatine Kinase enzyme, and its presence and concentration can be indicative of certain medical conditions, such as myocardial infarction (heart attack).

Cardiac and Inflammatory Biomarkers in Rats

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
On week 8, the body and hearts of the rats were weighed. Then, the rats were sedated through intraperitoneal injection of pentobarbital (1%). The blood specimens were harvested from the cardiac apex of rats, put into 2.0 mL heparinized Eppendorf (EP) tubes, mixed completely, and centrifuged at 8000 r/min and 4 °C for 6 min. The supernatant was stored at −80 °C. The creatine phosphokinase-MB (CK-MB) kit (H197-1-1, NanJing JianCheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China) was utilized to detect CK-MB levels. Sarcosine oxidase and urease methods were employed to measure blood creatinine (ab65340, Abcam, Cambridge, UK) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN; ab83362, Abcam), respectively. Inflammatory cytokines, interleukin-6 [(IL-6), ab234570], tumor necrosis factor-alpha [(TNF-α), ab236712], and interleukin-1 beta [(IL-1β), ab255730] were tested by corresponding enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits (Abcam). The above relevant biochemical indexes were measured strictly as per the specific operation steps and precautions of the corresponding kits, and the absorbance was calculated on a microplate reader. The sample concentration was calculated according to the formula or the standard curve regression equation corresponding to the biochemical indexes.

Serum Biomarkers Measurement Protocol

Serum was collected after centrifugation at 3000 r/min for 10 min. Using lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) kit, creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) kit, cardiac troponinI (cTn-I) kit and nitric oxide (NO) kit (all from NanJing JianCheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China), the serum sample was reacted with corresponding reagent. With the optical density (OD) determined by a microplate reader, LDH, CK-MB, cTn-I and NO contents were calculated.

Assessing Myocardial Damage in NPCMs

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
NPCMs were seeded into 6-well plates. After various treatments, the degree of myocardial damage in NPCMs was assessed using the aspartate aminotransferase (AST) kit, lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) kit, and creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) kit (Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China). The experiment was carried out according to the manufacturers' instructions.

Blood Biomarker Analysis of Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
All the mice at the end of the reperfusion were taken 4 mL blood by a disposable venous blood sample collection container separation glue or coagulant promoter from the abdominal aorta. The blood was centrifuged at 3000 r/min for 10 min to take the supernatant. According to the instructions of the lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) kit, the creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) kit, the cardiac troponinI (cTn-I) kit and the nitric oxide (NO) kit (all from NanJing JianCheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, China), corresponding sample and reagent was added for detection. With the optical density (OD) values determined by a microplate reader, the standard curve was drawn and the activity or content of each index in the sample was calculated.

Serum Biomarker Analyses in Reperfusion Injury

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
At 120 min after reperfusion, abdominal aorta blood samples were obtained and centrifuged at 4°C at 1800 g for 10 min to harvest the serum [21 (link)]. Levels of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), creatinine kinase-MB (CK-MB), and cardiac troponin I (cTnI) were measured following the manufacturers’ instructions of the LDH kits (A020-2-2, NanJing JianCheng Bioengineering Institute, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China), CK-MB kits (JianCheng) and cTnI enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits (KE1457, Immunoway, Plano, TX, USA), respectively. Optical density (OD) values were measured using a microplate reader, and a standard curve was plotted to calculate the content and activity of each indicator of the samples.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
