Cholesterol esterase was purchased from Worthington Biochemical Corporation (Lakewood, NJ). Protease and phosphatase were purchased from Cell Signaling Technology (Danvers, MA), RIPA buffer from Sigma, TGX protein gels from BIO-RAD (Hercules, CA).
