Confluent cells were treated with 0.02 ng/ml, 0.2 ng/ml, 2 ng/ml or 20 ng/ml recombinant human IL- 1β (Thermo Fisher) for 48 h and harvested for RNA extraction, followed by cDNA synthesis. In separate experiments, 1.2 µM clozapine (Abcam, Cambridge, UK), 26.6 nM haloperidol (Abcam) and 0.974 µM risperidone (Abcam) (based on typical therapeutic serum ranges) were used to treat the confluent culture for 48 h before harvesting the cells. This time point was chosen to avoid an immediate (acute) response to antipsychotic treatment. ICAM1, ABCG2, CDH5, OCLN and IFITM mRNA expression was measured by qPCR (

About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
