Milliplex human amyloid beta tau magnetic beadpanel hnabtmag 68k

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in United States

The MILLIPLEX Human Amyloid Beta Tau Magnetic Bead Panel (HNABTMAG-68K) is a multiplex assay that allows for the simultaneous quantification of multiple analytes related to amyloid beta and tau proteins in human biological samples. The panel utilizes magnetic beads coated with specific capture antibodies to detect and measure the target analytes.

Quantifying Neurodegeneration Biomarkers in CSF

CSF samples were thawed in a biological safety cabinet just before analysis. To measure NFL concentration, a commercial sandwich enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA; NF‐light ELISA kit, Uman Diagnostics, Umeå, Sweden) was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Concentrations of Aβ40, Aβ42, p‐tau (pThr181), and t‐tau were determined using a MILLIPLEX Human Amyloid Beta Tau Magnetic BeadPanel (HNABTMAG‐68K, EMD Millipore, Billerica, MA, USA) completed on a Biorad Luminex platform according to the manufacturer's instructions. Within plate and interplate coefficients of variation were <5% and <15% for NFL; and <10% and <15% for the multiplex, respectively. Repeat samples collected from a given animal were run together on the same plate, except for two in Figure 2A (long delays).

NfL was measured using a commercial sandwich ELISA (NF‐light ELISA kit, UmanDiagnostics) performed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Reference samples were included on all multiplex and NfL ELISA plates for comparison across plates. Within‐plate and interplate coefficients of variation were <15% for the multiplex; and <10% for NfL.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
