Nitrocellulose membrane and glass cellulose membrane were from Millipore; the whole blood separator was from Shanghai JieYi Biotechnology; and the stickiness baseplate was from Shanghai Liangxin Science and Technology Ltd. Ultrapure water (Milli-Q) is used in the detections.

Standards, including shanzhiside, gardenoside, genipin-1-β-D-gentiobioside,
geniposide, 6″-O-p-coumaroylgenipin gentiobioside,
geniposidic acid, deacetyl asperulosidic acid methyl ester, scandoside
methyl ester, chlorogenic acid, crocin-I, and crocin-II, were purchased
from Chengdu Croma Biological Co., Ltd. (Chengdu, China). The purity
of all standard components was more than or equal to 98%. Finally,
edaravone was purchased from Aladdin Biomedical Technologies Co.,
Ltd. (Shanghai, China). Samples of GF, GFP, and GFC were from same
batches and processed in Baicaokangshen Pharmaceutical Company (Hebei,
China).

The chloroform, anhydrous sodium sulphate, sodium hydroxide, sulphuric acid, and sucrose were analytical grade and purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd (Shanghai, China).
The four alkaloid (nicotine, anatabine, nornicotine, and anabasine) standards were diluted into 100 μg/mL stock solution with a 50% (v:v) methanol aqueous solution in four 100 mL brown flasks for the preparation of the standard solutions. The stock solution was stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of 4 °C.
