Sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium di-hydrogen phosphate, glucose and potassium chloride were purchased from Fischer Scientific (New Jersey, USA). Peptone bacteriological was bought from Biokar Diagnostics (Allonne, France). Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate was purchased from Probus SA (Badalona, Spain), agar powder from VWR Prolabo (Leichestershire, UK), rose Bengal from ICN Biomedicals (Ohio, USA) and dichloran was obtained from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, Missouri, USA).
