Yttrium nitrate hexahydrate [Y(NO3)3·6H2O], iron(iii) nitrate nonahydrate [Fe(NO3)3·9H2O], manganese(ii) chloride (MnCl2·4H2O), and potassium hydroxide (KOH) are analytical reagents, purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. YFe1−xMnxO3 (x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075 and 0.1) nano-powders were prepared by hydro-thermal method. First, 0.01 mol of Y(NO3)3·6H2O and Fe(NO3)3·9H2O, and a certain amount of MnCl2·4H2O were weighed and dissolved in 30 ml of distilled water with stirring. Second, 0.75 mol of KOH as mineralizing agent was directly added into the above solution, the mixtures were then transferred to Teflon-lined stainless steel autoclave and heated at 230 °C for 72 h. Third, the dark products were filtered and washed several times with distilled water to obtain crystals that are then dried in air.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
