Cell lysates were prepared in RIPA buffer (#9806, Cell Signaling) supplemented with Halt protease and phosphatase inhibitor cocktail (#78440, Thermo Scientific). Equal amounts of protein, as measured by BCA protein assay (#23225, Thermo Scientific), were resolved in NuPAGE® Novex® 4–12% Bis-Tris Protein Gels (#NP0321BOX, Life Technologies) and transferred electrophoretically onto a Nitrocellulose 0.45 μm membrane (#162-0115, BioRad).
