Anti ncam1 antibody

Manufactured by Abcam

The Anti-NCAM1 antibody is a tool used to detect and quantify the expression of the Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule 1 (NCAM1) protein in various biological samples. NCAM1 is a cell surface glycoprotein involved in cell-cell adhesion and signaling processes in the nervous system.

Immunohistochemical Analysis of CD8+ T Cells and NK Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The sections from the FFPE tissues of the cases were stained with CD8 antibody (Anti-CD8 alpha antibody [EPR20305], ready-to-use, Abcam) for CD8+ T-cell detection, or with NCAM1 (Anti-NCAM1 antibody [EPR21827], ready-to-use, Abcam) antibody for NK cell detection using a Ventana Benchmark Ultra system according to the manufacturer’s instructions. CD8 or NCAM1 positivity and hematoxylin–eosin staining patterns were evaluated, and then photographed with an Olympus BX43 light microscope by an expert pathologist.

Inhibition of NCAM1 and COL6 in DRGs

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
To disrupt the function of NCAM1 or COL6, DRGs seeded on the ECM-precoated dishes were treated with anti-NCAM1 antibody (1:500 diluted in the culture medium, Abcam, Cat# ab220360) at 37°C for 48 hours. Next, the DRGs were fixed and examined via microscope. DRGs treated with an anti-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) antibody (1:500, rabbit monoclonal IgG, Beyotime, Cat# AF1186) were set as the control group.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
