Poloxamer 105 is a nonionic triblock copolymer composed of a central hydrophobic chain of polyoxypropylene (polypropylene glycol) flanked by two hydrophilic chains of polyoxyethylene (polyethylene glycol). It is a white, waxy solid used as a surfactant and emulsifier in various pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications.
