Facsdiva driven lsr 2 flow cytometer

Manufactured by BD

The BD FACSDiva-driven BD LSR II flow cytometer is a laboratory equipment designed for cell analysis. It utilizes flow cytometry technology to detect and analyze various properties of cells, such as size, granularity, and fluorescence. The core function of this instrument is to provide researchers and scientists with the ability to study cellular characteristics and populations in a rapid and automated manner.

Flow Cytometric Analysis of IFN-α and CD123

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cells were stained with the following anti-human Abs: Phycoerythrin-conjugated anti-CD123 Ab (clone 6H6; BioLegend), allophycocyanin (APC)-conjugated anti–IFN-α Ab [clone 7N4–1; BD Pharmingen]. Flow cytometry acquisition was performed with a BD FACSDiva-driven BD LSR II flow cytometer (Becton Dickinson). Data were then analyzed with FlowJo software (TreeStar, Inc.).

Quantifying Cytosolic Hydrogen Peroxide

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cytosolic hydrogen peroxide was measured using the Peroxyfluor-6 acetoxymethyl ester (PF6-AM) fluorescent probe as described in (Dickinson et al., 2011 (link)). In brief, cells were washed twice with warm PBS and incubated with 250 nM of PF6-AM in serum-free RPMI for 20 min at 37°C. Cells were allowed to recover in complete RPMI for 1 h and were subsequently harvested and resuspended in sorting buffer (PBS + 1% FBS). Flow cytometry acquisition was performed with BD FACSDiva-driven BD LSR II flow cytometer (Becton, Dickinson and Company) which measured the increase in PF6-AM fluorescence. Data was analyzed with FlowJo software (Treestar Inc.)

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
