Lh elisa kit

Manufactured by Enzo Life Sciences
Sourced in United States

The LH ELISA Kit is a laboratory kit designed to quantitatively measure the concentration of luteinizing hormone (LH) in samples. It utilizes the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. The kit includes the necessary reagents and consumables to perform the LH assay.

Blood samples were collected and allowed to clot overnight at 4°C before being centrifuged for 20 minutes at 1000g. The supernatant was subsequently collected, and enzyme immunoassays (EIAs) for GnRH (S-1217, LHRH-EIA Kit, Peninsula Laboratories International Inc., San Carlos, CA, USA), LH (LH ELISA Kit, ENZ-KIT107, Enzo Life Sciences Inc., Berne, Switzerland), FSH (Rat FSH ELISA Kit, abx051243, Abbexa, Cambridge, UK), and testosterone (T) (Testosterone ELISA Kit, ADI-900-065, Enzo Life Sciences Inc.) were conducted.

Hormonal Analysis of Serum Samples

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Blood samples were collected directly from the inferior vena cava with a 1-mL syringe at the end of the experiment. Serum was obtained by centrifugation at 13,000 rpm for 15 min and stored at −70 °C until use. Serum luteinizing hormone (LH) levels were measured using LH ELISA kit (Enzo Life Science, Inc., Farmingdale, NY, USA). Serum follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels were measured using an FSH ELISA kit (Enzo Life Science, Inc., Farmingdale, NY, USA). Serum 17β-Estradiol levels were measured using a 17β-Estradiol ELISA kit (Enzo Life Science, Inc., Farmingdale, NY, USA). Serum testosterone levels were measured using a testosterone ELISA kit (Enzo Life Science, Inc., Farmingdale, NY, USA). All kits were used according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and each sample was analyzed in duplicate.

Throughout the entire experimental period, weekly blood samples were obtained from tail vein of all rats. Serum was obtained and kept at −20°C until hormonal measurements. The concentrations of estradiol (E2) (17β-Estradiol high sensitivity ELISA kit; Catalog #: ADI-900–174) and luteinizing hormone (LH) (LH ELISA KIT; Catalog #: ENZ-KIT107) were measured using ELISA kits (Enzo Life Science) following the protocols provided by the manufacturer.

Steroid Hormone Quantification in Animals

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Circulating concentrations of corticosterone (CORT), testosterone (T), and luteinizing hormone (LH) were measured in all animals using an ELISA assay kit according to the manufacturer’s instructions (Corticosterone Enzyme Immunoassay Kit, cat #K014-H1, lot #16CS080d; Arbor Assays, Ann Arbor, MI; Testosterone Enzyme Immunoassay Kit, cat #K032-H1, lot #17T051b; Arbor Assays; LH ELISA Kit, cat #ENZ-KIT107-0001, lot #02061708A; Enzo Life Sciences, Farmingdale, NY). For all assays, samples that fell below the limit of detection were included in the analysis with a value equal to that of the detection limit, as indicated by the dashed line in each graph.

Plasma LH and Serum DHT Quantification

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The concentration of plasma LH was measured by the LH ELISA kit (Enzo Life Sciences, Farmingdale, NY, USA). In addition, the concentration of serum DHT was measured by the DHT ELISA kit (Immuno-Biological Laboratories Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA). All procedures were performed according to the manufacturer’s protocol. The absorbance values were measured by a microplate reader (TECAN) at 450 nm.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
